“Turn the Page” is Now on P4 (Danish National Radio)
You’d have to say that I got a bit more lucky with my new album because the P4 people smiled at me and said “That sounded really good” and then they playlisted “Turn the Page” from my album to be released 6th of September 2010.

With Cecilie Heering I worked hard on getting my album from print in time for the meeting with P4 and it happily succeeded to get all the cds into my small apartment 1 day before the meeting.

Cecilie Heering has also made covers for Cody, Sleep Party people and a lot of other cool Copenhagen acts. So enjoy her drawings in my cover. If you want to listen to me on your local radio, tell me which radio you listen to and I will contact them with my music. Also remember that a lot of small radios accept music requests. Café Concerts in Slovakia
Through Couchsurfing.com, where you can get to crash at somebody’s couch, I have been so lucky to get 2 gigs at cafés in Banska Stiavnica. One of them should be situated next to an old castle and as far as I can see on Google Map the town looks pretty cosy. So I am heading off to a new adventure. Check the dates in my concert schedule if you are anywhere near Slovakia.

Annemarie at Event at Musiktorvet, Copenhagen

Now there’s good news to the Copenhageners. We are getting a new place to celebrate all kinds of culture. It will be the Musiktorvet and there will be theater, music and street life here. The ambitions are high, and I will be part of kicking it in.  The events are called “Saturdays at Musiktorvet”, so Saturday 26 of June you can see me playing already at 11.15 – possibly struggling to peak out my eyes – but still. Its at Øresundsvej nr. 6 2300 Copenhagen S. Don’t miss this oppourtunity to see me play this early.

Scheduled for Two Major Festivals
In August I’m playing at two major singer/songwriter festivals here in DK. It is Svendborg singer/songwriter festival during Svendborg Festdage and Copenhagen Songwriters Festival. I know it’s going to be a thrill and I can’t wait to play these gigs.

Release Party at Café Zusammen
The date is set 10th of September 2010 you can go to my release party and celebrate the new record with me at Café Zusammen – Red Cross voluntary café project.
The place is red and extremely cosy so write it in your calendar, so that we all can have a blast of a party to celebrate “The Girl Without Music” – the title on my new album. The exact time I will be returning with info about but it will most likely be in the evening.

New Danish Website with Guestbook

New Videos and Photos From Austin

In the beginning of April I returned home from the amazing Austin, where there were sunshine everyday and where I spent my time songwriting and bathing in the river of Barton Springs. I met some fantastic musicians and songwriters, with whom I co-wrote. It was these beautiful people that I believe you should check out: Dana Falconberry, Ben Mallot, Aimee Bobruk, Michael Fracasso and Dave Madden.  On my myspace there’s rich opportunity to see the videos from my showcase at Threadgill’s in Austin and pictures from Threadgill’s, where Aimee Bobruk and Dana Falconberry accompanied me on stage. There’s also two diary blogs from Austin, so you can get a hint of what I experienced over there.
